The Story of Death and The Fool Tarot Cards
In every death, there is an awakening, and in every awakening, a death. In the Death card, Death waves the flag of The White Rose, inviting the old to die and the new to rise up in purity. In the distance are a boat floating down a river as well as the sun rising between two pillars. The boat reminds us to surrender to the flow of life, death, and polarity overall. That to truly live, you have to embrace both change and death. The sun rising reminds us that after every death is a rebirth where we find ourselves so much stronger than before.
The Fool too holds the white rose of purity and wisdom in her hands and walks the path of faith. She is about to walk into what appears to be an abyss, but whether a path will miraculously appear or she will fall, she trusts. Her path is guided by the white sun above and her white-colored spirit guide below. The Fool can trust so deeply only because she has made peace with death and is no longer afraid of the shadow side of life.
